I got my frst dream car, a '57 Chevy Hardtop, when I was 13. After a few years of cruzing the '57 and a couple of 50's Buicks on East 14th in the late 70's, the Chevy's drivetrain was transplanted into Canned Heat, my still in use, '55 Chevy 2-door surf wagon. Other projects, like my customized Fiat Spyder, '53 Studebaker shop truck, '48 Jeepster, '31 Ford Sedan and my wife's 2-lane blacktop inspired '55 gasser arrived throughout the 90's. About the same time I 'discovered' motorcycles and suddenly my interest in metal shaping bloomed.
I have taken classes from Kent White, and nearly all Ron Covell's offerings. I have worked with steel, aluminum, fiberglass, wood, brass, and enjoy experimenting with new challenges and ideas.

The scope of my work includes:
· Custom designed tanks, seats, fenders, and fairings for motorcycles from a Ron Simms Harley to my little CL-160 race bike.
· Replicating and modifying many unobtainable parts for vintage sports cars from Ferrari light brackets to Alfa airboxes.
· Reform, replace, and repair sections of damaged body panels on steel and aluminum bodied cars.
  A few individual pieces are:
· The helmet for Guido's "Von Zipper" tribute the the Red Barron showcar.
· Design and construction of the body for Dave Barker's #9 Indy Racer.
· Replicate the fenders for a 1922 Hispano Suiza 'skiff' from a photograph.
· Shaping a 6-piece hood for a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang replica.
· A 70's vintage Ducati-esque body for a Bomota Tesi chassis.
· 3 "Inner Light" sculptures, and the "mini Morpheus" for the Fuse Project.
· "One off" motorcycle body for Jason Ruhl, John Koester, Windsor Owens.
